Electro Adda's 0.75 - 850kW slip-ring motors from the CR series are designed to operate in harsh environments at maximum workloads, namely in the mining industry, energy, transport and seaports. As a rule, they are installed on tower, overhead and gantry cranes of various sizes.
Motors of this series are also popular in construction due to the ability to constantly operate in "torn modes" (repeated-short-term with frequent starts, reverses, electric braking), while providing a high starting torque at a minimum current. As practice shows, for operation in such modes, the best solution is to use electric motors with a phase rotor or, as an alternative, high-torque electric motors with permanent magnets.
