Since 2010, the Sprint Electric family has been enriched with a new branch of products under the JL/JLX label, digital AC drives for controlling slip-ring motors. This series is compact in size and equipped with the same software and functionality as the top model PL/X Digital DC, of which it is a derivative.
Control modes 2- and 4-quadrant (version X), rated current range 100 - 1680 A. The interface for monitoring operating parameters is located on the front panel, consists of a screen and four backlit data entry buttons. Also, the setting is carried out through the PL Pilot software with a very convenient and intuitive control. With practical architecture, flexible connectivity, and support for multiple network protocols, the integration process is simple and quick.
Application areas of JL/JLX are quite diverse, in particular, they are widely used in metallurgy, paper and plastic industries. Drives have gained particular popularity in work with crane equipment (lifting, turning and transporting operations).
